As Congress debates the future of the free and open Internet, I wanted to share my recent interview on State of Belief Radio. The host, Rev. Welton Gaddy, was gracious enough to let me really get into what is at stake for the future of religion and interfaith cooperation in America.

Earlier this year, thanks to millions of people like you, federal officials adopted the strongest protections for the open Internet that the country has seen. Now large Internet service providers, like Comcast and Verizon, are pressuring Congress to roll back our historic victory.

Half the battle for faith communities is going to be making sure we understand what’s at stake. I think my discussion with Rev. Gaddy helps get us there.

I invite you to listen to the interview, tell me what you think, and share with friends and colleagues.

With boundless gratitude,
Valarie
